Although we are both pretty casual girls (L a little more beachy, K with a bit more East Coast prep), there arise certain occasions when it’s time to step it up.   Just this past weekend, for example, L found herself (as is typical) dressed “as topanga canyon with a heart of california country as you can get,” and not 24 hours later dressed to the nines for a wedding (LBD,  louboutins, and one hell of a cocktail ring).  Case in point.
